Sami axle into a vit

Post by Heath »

Any one done a coil spring sas conversion with a sami axle in a vit? If yes what hassles were there if any?

Just got an offer of a vehicle with frontal damage (arms are stuffed so need replacing) and thought i would just feel around before comitting.

I think a sami axle would be a little shorter than a vitara (wheel track width wise) and im pretty sure that there different diff ratio's. The most common conversion if lux axles.

i am putting hilux axles into a vitara at the moment so i stop breaking diffs and sami diffs are weak so you would be creating more problems if you went that way,,if you buy it pm me i have all the bits that i am taking out just sitting here that would fix it any way, minus the front diff, cheers

to fix the ratios I would basiaclly swap ratio from front ifs into the beam.

Just looking for the cheaper / effective angle
