Nissan front diff rebuild kit???

Ok, my front end needs a rebuild :shock: basically i need wheel bearings king pins and bearings, swivel seals etc etc anyone know where to get a good kit to do this? the cheaper the better :roll:

Just had the misses truck done and now I have to do my own :( :(
Rick from 4WD assosires got a kit for the misses for $500
Its NOT a whale !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more like a large seal

I realise it was for a safari as thats all we own and its just the kit not the labour :shock:
Its NOT a whale !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more like a large seal

If you keep your eye out you can pick up a hole front end for under $500, then keep what you have for spares.

BNT do swivel kits about $250 which has ever thing but the wheel bearings.
W/bearings about $80 each

I'll be bringing a couple of sets back from oz anyway since they are cheap, so let me know when you are ready to do them to see if the oz ones are a better price.

Not until the end of next month, the kits range from $130-180aus which seems ok.
Not sure what the trade price is here, so may look at that too.
Will let you know if I still have a contact at BNT, if so, will give you a price

Dave,
While you're over there, check out the prices for genuine Nissan body mounts and control arm bushes. When I was there last year, they worked out to be just over 1/2 price of what we pay here.

Will do. You interested in some if I bring any back? I'd probably look at bringing a spare set anyway if they work out that much cheaper.
Even PTO shear pins are only $7 over there, I paid $18 :roll:

I'm all good thanks Dave. I brought back a complete set of body mounts and bushes last year and gave my truck a birthday.

i did a complete overhaul on my front diff last year after water got in and shagged everything , came to just under 1k at trade prices diff head bearings are real expensive , next time i will pick up a second hand unit.
got the swivel hub seals at bnt - best price by a long shot
