I don't think there's any such thing as a good price for a Safari snorkel... they are f*****g expensive :?

but I think you get what you pay for, they fit well, the templates are accurate and I don't know why mines never broken coz its had some rough knocks since its been on :rocketwhore:

$550 + GST from local dude.May just have to take it on the chin/wallet.Any cheaper getting them from Aussie you reckon?

Mine air intake runs through the fire wall on my truck, but im abott to build a 4" snorkel for my dads safari similer to whats on GQTROLs

Can't tell from the photo, but do the airtec run far enough down the guard to use the existing factory intake hole like the Safari units, or does it run an extra piece inside the guard?

Dave at "Just 4x4's" in Auckland did me a good deal on a Gibson/Airflow snork a while back. $280 if memory serves correctly, all the bits and pieces.

They run an extra piece in the guard.

I paid $400 for Safari snorkle from AutoKraft in Palmy Nth. Borrowed a hole-saw and fitted it ourselves. Template was spot on. If doing it again, I would use riv-nuts in the A-pillar...I don't think those 3 screws would last long if you caught it while backing up.
