toymota thats stock standard.
A rolled Prado is worth scrapping that is all.
Or maybe an anchor for a boat mooring!!
Anyone with one will realise the old joke. What is the happiest day in your life? The day I gave my Prado away!
I read an article in a 4WD Club Magazine recently about Prados and it said you need to do a hell of alot to a Prado just to get it bo work like a stock Land Rover.
Hence the only place for a rolled Prado is recycle so they can melt the scrap and make a land rover out of it!!

Manual or auto? Does the engine still run? 1kzs had a change about 94 or 95 which saw the power and torque increase. That'll affect realisable value.
Assuming the vehicle still runs well and is a manual, I'd advertise the motor and gearbox including driveshafts together to suit repower. Have you priced a clutch for these lately? Big coin I believe, or at least the van's clutches are.
Same with the diffs, offer them as a pair to suit custom build or the likes of a suzuki upgrade, might pay to include some steering components.
I was offered a 1kz and gearbox for $2200 in January when replacing the 3L in an LN106 Hilux, but spent too long scratching my arse thinking about it and missed out.
I'd ask $3000 minimum for the engine, gearbox, driveshafts package and not be afraid to separate or accept a reasonable offer for a quick sale.
A commercial buyer with a company van that has a bung engine may buy the 1kz.

got any pics... I'd say the motor would sell like a hot cake at $2500 on TM.. especially if you can get some service history. I would suggest spending $150 and get a leakdown and compression test done before you take it to bits... would make the motor worth more..
