suzuki diff breathers

Hi all, wondering if its worth putting extended breathers on my sj410?? and how would be the best\cheapest way of doing this??

definetly worth doing. I just used garden hose then a small filter way up high. Cheap and effective 8)

Some can be flicked off with a decent sized sized screw driver other wise get a little brutal with pliers or something similar...

when i did mine i taped out the hole and put brass fittings in then used fuel line for the hose and it cost quite a bit more than garden hose so that probably better.

That sound easy enough got everything at home to do that you should see my fathers shed! hes a bit of a hoarder hehe its great

I used 12mm inside diameter clear plastic hose for breathers as I can then use the hoses as an easy way to add the diff oil. The filler plug on the diff still needs to be taken out, or very loose, so the air can escape.

Doesn't have to be clear hose but it's easier knowing where the oil is.
