sj413 headgasket

Post by luke25 »

My sj413 has been using a bit of water lately and today it started spitting out lots of white steamy smoke and water dripping out the exhaust so I'm guessing its the head gasket. Is that a common fault on these vehicles and is it likely to be anything more sinister like a warped or cracked head or block. What it like changing the head gasket on these motors. It doesn't look bad compared to most cars lots of room to work with. I've actually got a whole spare motor that I could just put in but I'm not really sure of its condition.
