What paint do I use?
I've just had bull bars sandblasted and now I want to paint them.
What sort of paint, undercoat do I use?
I dont have a spray unit so I will probably have to brush coat.
Or am I better off sending it to someone to spray or powdercoat just to be done with it? What sort of price should I expect?
Any help would be appreciated. (no emoticons)

Personally i would use hammerite paint...
No need to prime or anything and has that hammered look with metallic particles so it covers up alll the imperfections well... and makes a reasonable finish too...
Takes a while to harden properly but is faily strong after that...
they recon you can paint straight onto rust, but i'd normally give it a light sand... and then just slop it on nice and thick with a brush..
Avaliable in tins or in spray cans (never tried them though)...
Mitre-10, Bunnings, local paint store (car colours) all have it up here in auckland...

My vote: Durepox..When dry, 100% water impervious..and only Resene Automotive Stores have it,any colour about $140ish for a 5lt kit.One draw back is its a 2pack (has hardner)only nasty when sprayed but brushed is sweet(use gloves, and its a bit smelly)
Buy far the best stuff around for what we do,IMHO
P.S. No i do not work for Resene
