Ashley river & Ashley track trip....Naki boys are coming

Post by hosehustler »

The guys will be here this weekend and I intend to entertain them, others have a Mak? trip Friday night?

Trip Date this coming Sunday 24th June
This Family trip is a grade 3 (as requested), the plan is to meet at 0930 at Ashley Gorge picnic area for a cuppa , meet, and a chat. (kids can have a play in the frost )

Trip is open to anyone who has hooks front and rear and wants to come, remember though this is a "non-association trip" so from trip leader (me)all care, no responsibility :!:

Departure will b at 10am sharp, please arrive well before then so we can all meet

Trip will be down the Ashley, stopping for a lunch break (I will have a small BBQ with me if you want to BBQ some sausages), and then make our way downstream to the Ashley track, do the track and we should all be at the Ashley pub for a beer about 3-4pm :P
I will do a rece Saturday (need some company) Al?, Kev?

Info.....snorkel and muds reccommended, Hooks compulsary

If you are coming please observe the start time and let us know here so we have a general idea of numbers

Also this is a "river flows dependant" trip, if I think it is too high we will do the Ashley track from east to west, then back west to east
I will post Saturday afternoon as to decision.

If you Naki boys have any alternate ideas or the time/day doesn't suit please say so ASAP :D

Seee you all Sunday

Would question the mounting of that front hook mate, is it "Factory" or an aftermarket one?
