What AMP for mig welder???

Post by mroffroader »

Hey guys,

Im looking at buying a little single phase mig welder for doing various jobs like exhasuts and bar work etc, what sort of amp range should i be looking at? I want to do some bar work and maybe a roll bar so it has to be quite strong.

Regards
James

Dont go with one of the smaller ones, just my 2 cents worth

good score with the uni mig , Think we kill one at work, ran it at full power for to long , overheated the main coils, , wasn't much good after that.
