I have my Mun in another truck and she is not into heights but she can just close her eyes and let heasr driver do all the work
I'm bringing my g/f for a bit of a weekend away and she is scared of heights hmmm will see
Don't worry I havent got lost or had anyone killed yet!! Nomally as a good host I would take g/f's or Mum's into my care, but her indoors has desided to tag along, so just drive to the conditions. As you do.( its not that bad, but dont tell the g/f or Mum then she will think your are the bees knees for protecting them... just think of the rewards).
Depending on whos coming we may split into two groups and will make a final desision on the day. the tracks are not Tuff, tuff, as I had to get a cross section of vechicals capablities and tracks that will suit everyone. The idea at the moment is for Scott to lead a group of more capable trucks in one direction and I would take the other group on a slightly different track thats easier. Then meet up later. But then this may all change, as its your day out not mine, as I can do this anytime ( within reason) We wiil advise and guide, and if you cant get thru, no problems we an't go anywhere, we gotta have a laugh. Although I will save Mum's and g/f ...no dogs sorry shes been taken already.
Chops.... you are a cook ?? sorry mate you have to stick with me. Bambi steaks alright?what ever happens to the rest of them dont worry we will get you out first OK no matter what tires you have, its fine.
thursday nite will be the first and only nite to confirm you are coming numbers by 10 pm, ta

Sweet, wheels changed last night.
Just need to do the greese treatment, pull the trailer towing gear of, put throw my recovery box and tool box in, sort out some food, find my radios, find my GPS, check oil and fluids, and maybe, just maybe, give the thing a wash.......................

Sweet, all of half an hours work

Hey Ben, bring Gonzo's hook out with ya, i'll have a look through my collection of hook mounting brackets, there's bound to be one that will work to clear the bumper. I had them to clear the bumbers on the Terrano.

Done

Ugly starter motor problem reared its head again last night. Click, click ,click, then it desides its gonna work.

Should be ok for the weekend, but some problem solving required in the future!!! Voltgage reads below 24V when ignition is on when cold. Possibly batteries not holding their charge.
Could be just the solenoid in the starter, probably full of mud and crap.
Only a problem when cold and the voltage drops with the glow plugs and manifold heater going.
Spose it does point to the batteries.
