1 - Picked up the wifes Wrangler. Thank lord that the tranny is now all go and shes on the road again. Got charged more than what I was told it was going to be over the phone, but hell, Im just glad shes got it back and I dont have that hanging over my head any more.
2 - Replaced right wheel cylinder on Cherokee.
3 - Replaced rear brake line to allow for the full 3 inch lift on Cherokee.
4 - Changed the shocks on a mates Pulsar, and in the process managed to pop his front axle out...... bloody cars...... who would want to work on cars???? Anyway, got him up and going again.
July 1
Will probably go to bunnings and see how the garden edging works as flares.
Will attempt to break something else as so as theres something to do next weekend.

Well actually worked on my 4x4 for a change , been a while . Pulled the engine out with a view to put in a cheep one I got the other day ,alas it was an auto and it has a bush in place of the bearing in the crank shaft , god knows why its there . Anyway could not get it out so started to swap over the intakes as that is my next guess on its ailment . Found some foam seals in the intake of no 3 , guess thats why I get intermitent poor compression on no 3 and possibly accounts for the air leak causing the high idle .
Heres hoping it goes when I get it all back together .
Chris

Yea I heard that was your mission for today... We fitted a new fan last night. Bought a piece of Aluminium to start making the fan shroud, had a long chat with Nigel at Lineside... and took charlie to an adventure playground.. which was partially flooded so we both got soaked

well, today my little son joseph turned the big 1..
so was a marathon effort last night to make the cake.. the blue engine of the choo choo was a strawberry swirl, second and third carriages are a normal madiera type cake, and the final carriage was meant to be the 'little red caboose' but the doris got raspberry flavour not colourin, doh!
red caboose was made to be 'joey friendly' as he has allergies to dairy, soy, egg, fish, nuts, wheat and a few others. and found some cookies that were 'joey friendly too.. sweet. we had his party at lollipops.. he loved it!
and here is birthday boy with another 'non joey friendly' cake, just for family.
love him to bits... happy birthday joey.

played sober driver to the missus and her sister last night
driving 2 drunk females home at 5:30 in the morning is not fun specially when they decide to take over the stereo and then bicker at each other for most of the trip home.....(thank god for MP3 players
)

truckless and shall remain so till she who wears the pants says otherwise.................lol

Worked all Saturday. Today removed fuel return line on the old mans pajero as was fractured and leaking (mainly because I have soldered it up too many times now) and will be getting a new one tomorrow, and did some other bits and pieces around the house (ie shovelled dog shit all afternoon, man for such small dogs they are shitting machines!!).

BLOODY WEATHER!!!!I hope every other buggers weather was as bad as ours......
Saturday=Finished plumbing up engine/trans replacement in the VX..starts like a honey, sounds FARKIN terrible straight of the E manifold, wired in the rear lockdiff, then spent QAULITY TIME with the mrs of course........
Sunday=after checking out a mates new pad(250 odd acres) and trying to convince him to let us run a funday out there, I ended up fitting the front lockdiff whilst getting absolutely drenched and bailed after daylight disappeared...

Good photo's Skid. Anyone got any more
when he says goes well. what he meant to say was that when no one is around it is great, but when he brings it out to show it off to everyone, it broke.
