Shaky steering....?? at slow speed.
I get rid of my factory 1993 Pajero alloy wheel and has 33" mud tires on 8" now. But the steering becomes shaky when the speed is slow; say between 40-60km/h. The faster speed the stable steer (60+). This REALLY annoy me!! I've done the wheel alignment but it still same. How can I stop this problem? Thanks for comment and suggestion

how old are the tyres???
they may be separated. check the tyres to see if they have any bulges around the tread. it will only be a small bulge but that will be the cause.
if the bulges aren't noticable, then look closely to see if the tread is more worn on one part of the tyre more than the rest.

I just had this happen to a work car took it in for 2 new front tires and it shook at 40km to 65km took it back and they spun the tires and one had a bulge of about 7 or 8 mm (you could only see it while it was spinning)
this was a tire fault on a NEW tire and they replaced it and now all OK.
the other option is swap the fornt left for back left and drive it no change do the same on the right, this will get rid of the movement in the steering wheel if it is a tire thing.
good luck

it shouldnt be ballencing. that occurs at higher speeds, closer to 100kph. tyre seperation is bulging like the others have said. that would be my guess if they have been on there for 18mths. move them around as suggested and if it feels like the wobbling starts to feel like its coming thru the floor and not the steering wheel then the problem tyre will be on the rear and vice versa. id just take it into a tyre store and get them to check it. they know what they are looking for.
good luck.
good luck.
