I could be interested, would make a change from the Akatarawa, Terawhiti, South Coast circuit. 2 or 3 days would suit me, I am sure I could get extra time off work to cover travel time. I'd be a happy camper in a tent.

Cheers

start getting the leave passes now, more details will appear soon.

you hillbillys making the trek up.....do we need to make arrangements if you want to crash at eg bubba's the day before travelling up?....even if you want to fly up and get a ride I'm sure this can be an option.

Let us know and we can try and organise what you need.

Temproary hijack

Sure nuff, had a tweak of the injector pump, modded the intake, all documented on the site, not sorry I bought it, peaked out at 175 KPH t'other day, pulls like the Vienna boy's choir!! its got a few more bush pin stripes now.

Temp Hijack over......

Got leave pass, maybe even Siwsie comeing too for Lab W/E we shall see. Be ratshit weather as Lab W/E nearly always is.
THIS is the result of taking Lab W/E lightly

yeah but, and its a huge but.

we gotta get in the final to make it worth watching. now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge All Blacks fan but its been 20 long years since we won.
there must be plenty of techno geeks on here who can rig up a telly in the bush. :bounce:

Hi Jerry,

Once you have firmed up plans, and set definite dates etc, I will get onto organising what I'll do. Have a few mates up around that way I can crash with if need be.

...... ok...... so if some "techno geek" manages to rig up an antenna of some description and we have a means to view it, we can expect Brian, Wopass and Merc to be completely uninterested and nicely snuggled up in the back of the g-wagon .... how very cute.

some of us dont give a #### about toyotas either, but we still put up with them
If we dont make the final, i and Im guessing a few others will be there, otherwise its a fairly big sporting event and would be good too see, so if the allowance can be made that we can watch the game cool, otherwise, some of us may bugger off to the nearest local too watch the game.... being the cross section of people on here that may be going, someone may have the techology too get the game too campsite, I have no idea. So if you dont like the game, fine, but keep your shit to yourselves

Thanks mate....perhaps you need to keep that attitude at the door or something.....   .

I'm sure someone will bring a TV or something, my other thought is change the weekend if there is big enough demand. it goes with out saying.

Then we have everything
I have seen Sky Aerials way out the back of beyond

That's all you have at home isn't it. Just need to make sure the aerial/dish is pointing in the right direction.

So you need a TV signal and some power to make it all go
