Protecting your Hi-Lift

Post by dazza85 »

When I brought my Hi-lift Jack the mast was coated with grease, most of which came of on my hands and anything else it touches
What do you do to protect it without making a mess it the back of the truck ??
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

Mine has started to jam up after months of abuse. Just give it a spray with innox or CRC/WD40 and shes pretty good again.

I think they also sell extension part for fitting a 60" jack as well.

mine never came coated in excess grease :?:
I just bolt in to the back of the truck and dont worry about any protection for it other than a bit of crc and lube on the moving parts every so often
