hey all yes its ma first day went out last weekend with the chch crew to thompsons flat is it? out springs junction way #### it was wikid anyways i have recently bought a hilux 89 got 15x9 wheels and raised this was all certed. i am wanting to also administer a body lift will i need to cert this again will it cost me the $250 again and where do i get a real cheap raising kit from?

hey rodgers good to hear its all happening for ya.... you wont need to cert your body lift unless its over 2", but dont quote me..... :wink:

wondering whered you get your $250 cert from??

From my reading of the regs, any body lift requires cert. also you insurance company will require one, even if the ltsa don't.

I sell and fit body lift kits, and can arrange a cert for you once it is fitted - although not for $250. Cert is normally about $310.

50mm lift kit for a Hilux is $170 take-away, $270 fitted. If you want to do it yourself, then I can supply some basic instructions and guidelines, but I won't be held responsible for anything relating to anything if anything goes wrong :)
