Spent the Saturday, with the Welly ORE crew at Terawhiti, What a day

They all appear to be mindless hoons whos sole aim is to take some pristine farm/marshland and turn it into a soggy, muddy bog and cover their entire vehicles in muck

Can't wait till i got some decent tyres and can join in more

I had been thinking of doing something to store my gear in the back of the cruiser for a while and I was conveniently given two plastic draws last week for a birthday. I decided I'd head down to the shed to fit something up - we live on a corner and go out the drive, round the corner and into another gate to get to the shed/workshop. Its not the first time its happened but I turned right instead of left at the corner and ended up down the river...

After an hour or so I got a text to say lunch was ready so headed home. After lunch my brother decided he wanted to go down the river with the Prado so we both headed off for 'half an hour' which actually equaled about 3 hours. Went in an area I hadn't been before and found some excellent mud and got coated all over, also found some challenging places. Unfortunately didn't have the camera. Should head down there with a few of us some time...

I finally got down to the shed and may me a quick rack to store everything.

While out I also managed to snap the hilift jack mount so need to weld that up.

Friday I swapped the rear door ladder from the Prado onto my cruiser. Those of you that have ladders on the back do you reckon they are a good thing or not? I'm most likely going to put a roof rack on for carting long items and figure it will be useful for that and also was going to put some hooks on it for winding a strop round.

Went with 2 mates for a cruise up the Waipara to test out the repower. Had a lot of fun, and yes, we stayed away from the area in dispute by the local farmers.

Pulled apart the front left hub to remove a little movement for a wof, put it back together and it is no better looked at the manual when I came inside and found there were 2 nuts and the locking tab

Oh well guess what I will be doing next weekend, at least I got to go to the rugby :) Was a pretty average game but there were some impressive dart makers  and lots of Darts thrown.
