In the garage again..

Post by rangimotors »

failed a wof today on my surf, seems i have broken a rear sway bar clamp, stuffed power steering and put a few holes in exhaust, all very fix-able but if anyones got any spares lying around for a kzn130 let me no, thanks.
I thought you could remover the sway bar and that may be an option instead of replacing it just to break another but the wof guy didn't reckon that was the go..

The sway bar clamp is a very common issue, ideally you would install sway bar disconnects as this will improve your flex and virtually eliminate the chance of the clamp breaking again, as the stress occurs off road.

removal does cause on road driving to be a little worse and more body movement but they are not required. if picked up they will look at the repair.
