Got back from the West Coast last night, dont have time right now for detail but highlights:
1. Peanut (suzuki) going full noise everywhere
2. Surf waaaay off track
3. Prado with no wheels on the ground and driver on the ceiling
4. Al broke stuff again 5. I remodeled the back corners of the prado and now need some flexi flares.
6. chainsaws & axes had a lot of use

Who knew Prados could fly?
Staurday started making up an exhaust for the Surf out of the 2.5" pipes I had bent up during the week. Everything went wrong - The pipes were all just a bit out, so I hads to cut them and realign them, the MIG ran out of Argon, so had to switch to gas welding. Then the Acetylene ran out. Then ran out of time as was going to the rugby, so drove with about 1 metre of pipe off the turbo and nothing more.
Sunday was back into finishing the exhaust - ran out of gas again on the last weld, so patched it with the gasless MIG and putty. Then discovered the waterpump is leaking.
Decided to ignore it in the meantime (already has a cracked head) and go home and watch motorsport. TV runs thru my PC, which decided to crash and not reboot. Said "**** it" and took the dog for a run at ward beach.
Just about finished the onboard air setup on my Hilux.
Have two 21L tanks that will mount where the spare wheel used to live, hopefully they will tuck nicely up into the frame and not hang down.
The inlet is run to the airbox and has an inline oiler on it.
There is a manifold on the inner guard with a pressure switch, blowoff valve, gauge and a regulator with a quick disconnect on it to connect tools etc
Just need to wire the compressor clutch into the pressure switch and dash switch and it should be good to go.
Also installed a remote mount filter. Will make the changes much easier than before, add about .5L to the system capacity, and allow a much larger filter to be used.
