Summit 4wd Christchurch-Highly Recommended
Got the clutch done on Friday at Summit 4wd, and was very impressed with the service.
I can highly recommend Alistair and his crew for mechanical work, and I will be looking at getting some bar work made up by them in the future too.
So if anyone is interested in getting some work done by them, they are at 220 Hazeldean Rd, off Montreal Street. 03 9821763.
Oh, and by the way, I did over a 600km round trip for these guys to work on the Safari, so that must be saying something!

Yeah he mentioned your clutch job at the training yesterday, I'm sure he muttered something about nissans being good trucks but I must have switched off as soon as i heard nissan

If that was FILTHY theres not much hope for us RED CRUISER drivers.
As for FUEL SAVINGS ???? and you drive a 351,
.
When in TRAFFIC, drive a CANTERBURY WINDSCREENS van and people will give you a wide berth, their vans don't have a good reputation at the moment.
And a little secret for you Craig, Those Nissans have a different badge in Aussie and you being kinda bent that way,
.
, go on do it,
.
BLUE OVAL,
FITZY.

AAhh Fitzy its actually a 429 with twin 600 holleys

And even my blue ovalness would not allow me to rebadge a car, sort of like putting a Chev in an old Ford

Got the clutch for $380+, the safari tuff was going to be $750+, and the 4terrain $825 for the extra h/d.
Who did you get the quote for the 4Terrain from? I was quoted $500+gst for one "suitable for turbo engine developing 1200Nm torque.." That was from Clutch Industries in Auckland, but the dude didn't sound very convincing.
My mistake, its actually the extreme outback clutch I priced, not the 4terrain.
I was recommended this one from the guys on outerlimits, and they seem to be getting a good rep.
