nivara output flange

Post by Rotazuk »

Hi
I am trying to get the front output flange of the nivara gearbox I have in my offroader . It won't move . Anyone have any tricks to getting these off ? If not I will have to drop the gearbox , not something I want to do right now but may have to .

Cheers

Prob have to get a gear/bearing puller on to it. If that still wont move youll have to heat it a bit with tension on it.

Are , yep was planning to use a puller . Alas not that far yet . Did not explain very well . Can't get the nut off the shaft . The good old suzuki has a bit of the nut hammered into the shaft to lock it , does the nissan do something similar . Not from what I can see , but it does not want to move .
