Just a sugestion a spelling button for us litera.. litaleraly... litralery... spelling challanged types

Yes I know how much work it would be to program I was thinking if its avalible as a php module

im in the same boat not to hot on spelling have to keep looking in dictionary :oops:

a spelling button would be great if pos otherwise ill keep using the good old paper dictionary as many will know chefs are not known for english or maths

I'm with DieselBoy, don't give a rats bout spellin, it's the msg and the expirence I want to here about. long as it's understood.

spelling schmelling, had a brief look for a plug in but not alot around that dont cause to many problems. I recommend just opening up a new email message and pasting your message when complete in that and running the spell checker on it and pasting it back. Thats what I normally do when trying to use big words :idea:

OK found a nice little plug in for internet explorer which allows you to right click and check spelling on the field you are typing in. so very useful for when writing messages here

Is there any update on this thread Mike? 2005 is so long ago in the world of computers, I see there is now some easy phpBB mods available that seem to do the job quite well :lol:

I'm all for having a speeling feature... cut and paste don't work for me in the heat of the moment while posting and 3rd party plugins are just a pain when you use more than 1 PC :shock:

As Mark says firefox has it all built in like Word or any other programme like that. Makes it easy! - Still doesn't mean I hit the right keys tho!

mate if everyone starts using the biggest words they can instead of the good old basics some of us may have to start looking up meanings not just spelling. stick to the basics, its all just garage/pub talk i like the fact that ppl on here come from many different jobs and back grounds but on here it doesn't matter ppl are all equal and we can all have input without feeling out of our league.
