Hilux power steering is a forward back movement, this is fine on a standard viehicle but when lifted this setup limits articulation, can disconnect from the ball joint and has a few bump steering issues you have to deal with.
The crossover steering you can see in the thread is a far superior setup on a hilux allowing you to get far more articulation out of the front and almost no bump steering.
Here is a pic of the standard setup to get an idea of what we mean

And this is the bits in it (in a LHD situation sorry

As you can see with the power steering punmp it mounts on the top of the chassis and swings as worded below.
(thanks for use of the pic Hosehustler
)
See the three silver bolt's in front of the tire the LHS one is on the bottom of the power steering arm, to turn right it moves forward to turn left it moves back, if the wheel goes up it goes right down left. Down too far and the arm connecting the power steering arm and the ball joint on the back of the hub can disconnect.
SNR make a whole kit minus the IFS power steering pump (and possibly a extention to the steering shaft into the power steer unit) Arms and all. This is probibly the best soloution you can get at the moment, and I will be doing this at some point with mine (when finances allow).
this works almost in parallel to your diff so almost no bump steering and a 2 Meter long shaft atg rather than a .5M (pure guessing here but you get the idea).
