Looking at going up there at some stage wondering is there any places i should look out for\avoid? also i turn at orwell creek rd? Where from there and where does it come out\end??? Thanks
Follow Orwell road, don't turn off any where. Then you come to a T intersection on a sweeping corner, turn left, it stay gravel for a while, then you go through a few deepish track wide puddles, then start decending down towards the creek. You will know your on the right track when you get to the rutted down hill section, thats the hardest part of track, so don't chicken out. When you have come out of the last tunnel, you can either follow the waipuna river down to the bridge and come out on Waipuna road through a gate, or go up stream and join the farm race and head out through the station.

What about the rivers how deep we talking? got snorkel but hasn't had a real test if ya no what i mean
No locked gates, but a potential $10 fee if you go out by the station.
River crossings are generally axle depth at their worst, but like any river crossing, it depends on the amount of rain fall in the area prior to you crossing. I have had to spend the night in their before camped up on one of the terraces as it started raining and the Waipuna river came up FAST. I decided to go out through the station as it involved less crossings, but they were all crossings into the current. I chickened out when one came over the bonnet and the safari started to float (not good in a narrow swift river) and i still had a couple of deep ones to go
