If you want a shiny no damage trip then no damage will be expected. if you decide to play in the rocks likely damage will be to sills exausts, and tyres, maybe another dent in your fuel tank :lol:

Some optional play areas
Rated Recovery points required for those that use the optional play area's, however this is a shiny trip and I will allow non rated hooks on this trip.

This is a joint trip between ORE Assn and the Wellington Family 4x4 club
Can come back over the Rimutaka's or back the way we came, WN Family will lead it for us this time as I haven't been there for ages, will run our own trips in there after this as the landowner will get to know us. and its a good opportunity to meet another club.

Nice fun cruisy day out, bring the kids or whatever

Meeting point: Public carpark @ Wainui Beach
To get to the meeting point get to Wainui(omata) and then just keep heading thru...past KFC Bro, past the BP and then keap heading down the coast, when you get to the next roundabout and set of shops keep moving on, past the tip 10 mins down the road, the forest park is 5 mins further down.....all the way to the coast....when you see the watery thingy follow the road to the left and there is a carpark on the right which should be full of 4wd's....if you go thru the "private property" sign you have gone too far


Meeting Time: 9.30am

hey Jerry, whats the go on bringing a Dog?
Got a Daihatsu Something, hasn't got a Daihatsu engine.... or diffs.... and it doesn't have windows.... or doors.... but its got tyres.... :)

we used to book out barneys whare from the Orongo station round there up untill about a year ago and they were never too keen on us taking our dogs around with us :?

which means there are 6 days before monday and 6 days after, counting monday thats a 13 day week
