v8 bike

in one of the posts someone said he wanted to see v8 bike, it looks a fair bit differant now, thease pics taken a while ago.
anyway

its alky 327 engine running threw to a fluid drive and right angle gearbox
built mainly to make smoke no other reason

i remember reading about a guy putting a rover V8 in a norton featherbed frame that was a while back
i have a soft spot for the boss hog though 350 v8 single speed top speed over 200mph if you can hold on :lol:

that marine developments bike with the rolls royce 250 gas turbine (i think) helicopter engine is even better. it does 0-365 in 14 seconds or something rediculous. there is a vid on you tube of it racing a jet down the run way. the jet has a few seconds headstart and the bike still over takes it well before the end of the run way. insane :twisted:

still not a v8 tho.

who needs to hear the sound when you are going that fast :!:

i dont really think you will be trying to listen to the sound at 365km :!:

hell yeah, now thats a kick arse unit... remember reading the blog on it when first released.. nasty lil number.. mentioned something about the test rider not wanting to wind it out..

i'd love to have the opportunity too.. :twisted:
