Whats that noise??

Ok Guys and Gals

Got a grinding noise coming from front right wheel area, it only happens on full right hand lock and after a few k's when it has warmed up. Im thinking wheel bearing or cv??

Any input gang??

i know it hard to describe the sound but if its like the one i have, wheel bearing my right one needs adjusting and the left needs replacing.

when my cv went there was no sounds, i was only told there was a split in the casing.

is the sound a deep rumble that you think you can feel it through your feet.

if so then yes wheel bearing

Daz, after Saturdays wee trip I would be checking for pea gravel jammed somewhere it's not supposed to be.

Had the noise before the trip, but just getting worse now. Yeah feel a sort of rumble through my feet only a little though.

Cheers fitzy for reminding me, all I saw was this big fecking truck coming towards me sideways. My 4 year old son has learned a few new words, not to the licking of his mother :lol:

Contact was made and a wee dent in the back door but no worries.
