wel finally got round to making some rear bars Image
bent over the side to make the corner wld stronger
Image
blanked off the ends with 4 mill plate
Image
put in a cut section of box steel to pac out the bar
Image
have another bolt hole to drill so it will have the strength

]also have used four bolts in the center to add xtra strength to the towing ability

Looks good nuts,
a brace across the corners is a real good idea as 4 of us ripped the corners off our standard bumpers in narrow holes

Keep posting the pic's 'cause I'm still working out what to do on the back of mine.

Only 2 things I am certain of at this stage, It;s going to be higher than the current one so will need a removable tow bar and solid enough to mount the tow hooks on.
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

rear bars

waiting till i got da $$$$$$$ to cut off the rear quarters then will strenghthen with ange bracing as then i can put 4x4 box on its flat to protect the underside and once i get my body lift done i will lift my fueltank to suit then place a spare wheel carrier on the rear bars instead of on my back door
