Question for Skid on Trials Truck CV's and Diffs

Post by suzolla »

Hi Skid,
Have seen the truck that you use for trials and see that it is 4 wheel steer and independent all round.
Are you able to tell what diffs, inboard CV,s, half shafts, outboard CV's and hub assemblies you are using.
Much appreciated
Thanks

Thats not skids. It Brian Howats one. Skid is just a navi
Well it was Brians one. I heard he had sold it.

It has hilux centres, 80 series cv's custom shafts, but im not sure what ifs hubs it has. All custom arms etc so I wouldnt be suprised if they were custom aswell. It also had an injected p76.

it was howies truck, now sold to some guy who wil trash it for sure.
if you really wanna know more about it, then ring Brian @ Howat Engineering in Naenae, Wellington. It had many custom made components.
