we dont have the river work up here like you guys do mate,and if it gets up to the dizzy which is lower than the pods (about 4ft deep) shes a dead duck so its not gonna suck any in anyway :wink:

i just have to pop the plugs out and crank it over to pump the water out if i drown it :lol:

I understand. But before the repower of my 40 went ahead my HSV mechanic advised me that if just one table soon of water gets into the mainifold it would hydrolock the LS1. :shock:

So i went with a 4 inch snorkel. It's 4 inch at the throttle body. The only filter is the snorkel cap. 4 ply of Redline air filter.

having been a mechanic for quite a few years i know all about engines with water in them and have had to rebuild a few :wink:
