Sorry wopass, we're threadjacking here, but I know you like that pic

Bloody Hell Skid that pic resembles something out of a street machine mag!!
I guess ya using it for what it was built for though. I dont believe Bennys rig would have ever made it into that mag but possibly an action mag demonstating how aggressive its become 8)

we dont have the river work up here like you guys do mate, and if it gets up to the dizzy which is lower than the pods (about 4ft deep) shes a dead duck so its not gonna suck any in anyway  i just have to pop the plugs out and crank it over to pump the water out if i drown it

I understand. But before the repower of my 40 went ahead my HSV mechanic advised me that if just one table soon of water gets into the mainifold it would hydrolock the LS1. So i went with a 4 inch snorkel. It's 4 inch at the throttle body. The only filter is the snorkel cap. 4 ply of Redline air filter. :D

I'm starting to think we need a body damage and dodgy panel work thread around here somewhere. To many people starting to think certain trucks are bling

"Post ya dents and the story behind it" or somethin lmao.

On Topic:

You taken it for a spin with the twin pods??

not to worry DB. myself and lots of others can stand up and say that they don't stay all blinged out for very long. Once I got my first dent, I stopped getting worried about where I was putting my truck.
We may build them all shiny at the start, but they're not that way for long.

I picked a FJ40 just for that, so i could go down any track and not worry about scatches or dents, but I wanted as much grunt as i could get!! Isn't it funny watching a shiny dentless 4X4 go down a rough track!! Hey it looks good going down the street (till it meets my FJ40 at the lights) all shinny. People/drivers get pissed off when my shitter beats there new $70,000k 4X4 from the lights. (up to 50ks of course) :D
