Safari 2" spring lift

Safari 2" spring lift
Going to do a 2" spring lift on my SWB GQ Safari this weekend. I have the springs, shoks & gearbox spacers. Alredy have a 2" body lift (geting 35's soon) is there eneything i should look out for when doing this lift?
Nope, two inch is a piece of cake, hardest part is lifting the front high enough to get the springs in and out, a fork lift comes in handy
How thick are the gearbox spacers? SWB, I dropped mine 10mm to get rid of driveline vibes. All of them are different though, some need more, some need less. Check your engine mounts while you are at it.
Cheers, Jeff.

After fitting the springs, shocks etc take it for a drive, the driveline vibs you get from such a lift come in about 80 - 90 kms.Mine had no vib until months later when i fitted rear 30mm coil spacers and i got a small one at 85km. 12mm Lexan spacers sorted this out easily.
Note : I have used Lexan with no issues but some would recommend Steel Spacers.

Most sports require only one ball - real sports require two.

cheers
You should not need them with LWB's as the rear unis are not on as much as an angle as the swb's
