Alright so treating some rust spots?

Post by dblancer »

Hi All

Spending probably a little bit too much time cleaning up my truck and making it my own at the moment, but anyway have a question.

I have some (say 8ish) stone chip marks that have a little surface rust in them. I can scratch the rust out with a finger nail or a small knife and i have a touch up paint pot that came with the truck.

Is there anything else I could do to seal up the chip better or treat it with to make sure I dont get nasty bubbling down the line?

I havent yet made a move on them, want to do it right he first time...

get some "Blackguard" Its a real good rustkiller. Treat the spots and then pencil some paint over the top

Also known as Tergo Rust Converter?
Any idea where I can pick this up from?

Repco Supercheap? perhaps somewhere else? a paint shop?

I picked up a good rust killer from Supercheap called Bodytech. You brushed on a rust dissolver, then once it was dry you could clean it up and paint it etc

Most sports require only one ball - real sports require two.
