if anyone was interested and they had any brains at all. They would wait until the end of the auction before placing a bid, unlike the noddy who has already outbid himself.
Why the fuk do people insist on putting bids on an auction when the reserve is already met. Did they win lotto or something. I can't see the point myself, you're just putting the price up for no reason. If its a bargain then everyone will be bidding at the end, so why boost the price in the early days of the auction when you can wait till the end.
thats my 2c anyway
and just to show I'm not threadjacking. I have it on my watchlist and if it is cheap enough at the end, then I will be there for the bidding war.

think ya will find that budfid had an auto bid to $50 then bac15 put an autobid higher, hence it maxed budfid and went to next bid $51
i spend to much time on trade me

Got a Daihatsu Something, hasn't got a Daihatsu engine.... or diffs.... and it doesn't have windows.... or doors.... but its got tyres....

a lot of people get relatives and friends to put bids on their auctions to either help meet reserve or drive the price higher once its got over res.
sometimes u are bidding aganist a lost cause.
plus people can be a little creative with pics and details, i don,t think i,ve ever really had a really good deal from anything i,ve bought on suck-me.
that auction has only two pics, so pretty hard to get a idea of what it really looks like, but it will prob sell for around 400bucks for a old chassis with a couple of diffs with seized brakes and some galv pipe rollbar.
If it was any good he wouldn,t have yanked body and engine etc
be better off spending the money on a blown up hilux
P.s if the guy who owns this is a member here i apologise!!!

I believe you'd be suprised at what it is worth to some people. Safari running gear is known to be strong and therefore worth a lot more than $400 just for one diff, let alone two.
I believe this is a real good base for a project for somebody. They have already done the hard work putting the running gear underneath and coiling it.
I can see a great trailered bush truck if you add something like this.......
