Hi, I'm Leigh, I live in Nelson and just got referred to this site today. I'm really impressed with the amount of good info on it. I've got an '89 3Dr 8V Escudo (actually, it's my daughter's truck, but I spend money on it, so I get to play with it!).
So far it's got 1" in the body and 2" in the suspension, but I haven't got longer springs yet, just spacers. Alloy front skid plate after wrecking front cross-member, Snorkel is a mandrel-bent that works great, and we're running a manky set of mixed second-hand 30" M/Ts. Whipped out the carpets and the catalytic, stuck in a UHF PRS, extractors, and lost the bumpers. Always keen to find other keen mudders, but a warning: I only like having fun in the mud, and don't like too many club-type rules/procedures. If it breaks, it breaks; and as a good friend taught me, "If you can see through it, you can drive through it, until proved otherwise!"

Welcome to ORE. Just a word of warning that most clubs have there rules for a reason. Its all good having a play in the mud (or rocks or wherever) just keep it safe, last thing anyone wants is to hear about a 4wd related accident or death. And don't go ripping to much up.
Neways, welcome again. grab a beer, put ya feet up and have fun.
Thanks for the reply and the welcome, and just so you don't get the wrong idea, the only things I'm prepared to break or risk are mine. No damaging to other people's gear or property, but I HATE it when anyone (particularly some beaurocrat) tells you you can't take a chance with your own well-being. I'm not stupid, but I'm sure as hell not politically correct.
