Got in there 8pm ish great night... Bubba kept us awake all night with his snoring (not to mention all the other stuff....Ask Handbrake...she looked shocked for a change  ), nice symphony of snoring....who was on the top bunk competing with Rod  ......night drive was cool.

Day 2 was a lazy breakfast, had a play on the airstrip and then one of my rear brake seals shat itself on the small hill climb there....no brakes when I left to go home....got trailered out and truck somewhere else...will go up and fix tomorrow night. borrowed a club mates prado like mine to get home ...is stored there (this one has a lexus V8 in it.......haven't stopped drooling yet.......I've just added one of those to the list  )

I do have some concerns, a did notice that there were a couple of vehicles with either no or factory tow points, and while ok on the road they are notoriously weak.

What a bloody ripper of a trip!!!

For me (and it's all about me) it was great to be able to get out and give it friggin stick, I was wrapped with the way she went, she jumped into any mudbogs she could find.

Sarah ahd a great time and now has the bug, she drove like a demon, found the loud pedal pushed it to the floor and didn't stop laughing the whole time. She now reckons she going to buy me a V8 for the Cruiser for my birhtday   8) 8)  (I told her a V8 would solved my LPG problems)

He's all the photo's of me wee Polica car

Thanks Bubba, I was going to post those ones up tonight. If you would like the originals I can PM them through to you tonight.

They tell a whole little story don't they :D

That was definitely a popular photo stop

Awesome weekend. Will take a couple of days to catch up on sleep, but other than no obvious signs of damage or trouble. I'm looking forward to it drying up a bit so that we can start doing a bit more exploring of different tracks and open some old ones up.

Hehehe... love the facial expression! Is that "Oh my god what have I done?", "Ouch, that's gonna hurt!" or "Come on, you can make it!"?

Toyota's ay . Has that dent always been in the back pillar Jerry?

I have a few vids that I'll post up soon.

Shit...all these years I've just been clamping off a brake hose with a pair of vise grips to get home and no one ever told me you only had to go and get a car trailer to transport your truck home when you lost a wheel cylinder or caliper

It is half way along the air strip on the right hand side, very nasty if you get it wrong, you see the big nasty hole on the left and if you are going to fast it can do some nasty damage... but it was all good this time.

Any of you guys have a crack at going the other way? Coming out on the airstrip?
