So I sold the landie, and made money on it (ha) and then brought an '87 Diahatsu Rugger. Its the 2.8 Turbo Diesel model, and goes really good.
It took 7 hours to drive it home from welly, cause I was towing over a tonne of spare parts on the trailer (poor trailer, the springs where so flat it was riding on the axles most of the way home).
Anyway, this is what it looked like the morning after I got home:

No doubt, some of you may recognise this as Jerry's old truck.

Then after dismantling the front bumper, mud flaps, rear step/bumper/thingee, and cleaning the mud from the outside and inside, it looked like this:

Rear stuff gone:

Currently the truck is in the shop at the mo getting all the bar work done.
Havent done anything with the suspension yet, but im not to sure what i should do. The springs are not far from being flat, and im a poor student, so after the bar work, i think im just gonna have to live with semi-flat springs for a while. I mean they are ok, just not as high as i would like.
Will post up pics of the new bar work, when finished.
