sorry for the ignorance but how on earth are you going to enclose/cover the big bitching loops? are you not having a hilux body over top? sorry but i cant picture it.

Yeah the top of the hoops are just under the bonnet, mite need to bulge the bonnet slightly but hopefully not

Dropped the cab on today for a check, need to see how far back i can get the engine, then make the engine mounts

Looks like it's all gonna fit without a body lift...sweet

Went mad with the plasma too :lol:

Yep imported them from the US, I think they were $110 USD each. Hannemann Fibreglass in California

Been a bit slack with posting lately, but I've been flat out at work and aint really done that much on the truck. busy makin SNR bits, 1 set of flat arms and tierod for a chap in Auck with a 40 series with no SOA, couple of sets for Rick at 4wd Acc's in ChCh, might be goin of someones truck on here?, made a IFS hub widening kit for Hosehustlers old man I think. Anyways, did get some stuff done on my wagon,
heres the new engine mounts, used Patrol trailing arm bushes in the round bit

started on the front four link mounts, hopefully get them finished this weekend

Got the front 4link mounts 90% finished today, just gotta flip the chassis over and weld the other side and box in the bit around the mount itself

Not much progress lately, gettin stuff sorted to build teh coilovers for the front. Did get the front axle sort of hangin there, and started makin front control arms and their mounts on the front axle housing.

flipped the chassis over and welded all the underneath stuff, then flipped it back again and started on the axle

Well actually I sold your set, :shock:

but we are right in the middle of making another run, and these are the new 1 piece design, so you may have to wait a week or so, your beasty tierod and ball joints are here. I'll call you when teh arms are done
