Big Prize bundle give away From ORE!!

Post by mike »

To Celebrate ORE reaching 10 million page views since its inception

There is a 4wd pack up for grabs.

What do you have to do to win this. Well its quite easy really. Only one person can win this. The person that gets the 10 millionth or thereabouts page view and knows about it wins the kit. Its going to happen in the next three days or so 8)

Now I can tell this behind the scenes quite easily and no one will know any wiser and even the 10 millionth page viewer, but I want the winner to prove it to everyone that they know they are by taking a screen shot of this page here:
http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/modules ... s&op=Stats

So you have to be on this page, and when you refresh it you can see the page view counter at the top turn over. If you happen to turn it over and the digits say 10000000 page views since December 2002 then you have won the prize pack, OR you are the closest to it!

To stop the potential cheats out there who will want to try and photoshop there screenshot I also require your IP address (unique internet address) for verification. You can obtain this here after you have successfully captured the screenshot (do not log off the internet before visiting this site and recording the number it tells you down) :
http://whatismyipaddress.com/

Information I need in the winning email:
Your username,
Your real name,
Your address to send the 4wd pack to,
Your IP address,
Your screen shot (undoctored) full screenshot including the time on your computer.

Verification of the result will be done by:
screenshot with IP address confirmation of access in logs and username checked in the site,
programmatic verification behind the scenes in the code. (This means that you cant just accidentally win this prize by surfing the forums or gallery and being the 10 millionth page view while others are in the stats page refreshing their browser trying to get that magic number. )

A username will be given to me by the site(in the background) and a screenshot needs to be sent in :D

If this is all to confusing here it is briefly:

A) goto stats page, when counter reaches 10,000,000 page views press print screen with some graphics program open so you can save it and send it to me (you better learn howto do this if you dont know, ask google about screen shots)

B) goto ip address link http://whatismyipaddress.com/

C) send me email with all the above information in new browser window (incase you havnt saved your screen shot properly)

D) If you try and cheat you will be caught(the site knows who the winner is) and I will post it in the forums so those that tried to win this legitimately can bollack you publicly.

What if the 10 millionth person is just someone surfing the forums and not even caring about this prize? the site will record the 10 names before and ten names after, so if you are the closest you win, not the person just surfing the forums! If no one is within the 20 page views trying for the prize pack then no one wins :(

Ok what is the prize pack:

1 x pair of staun tyre Deflators
1 x Wood Rope Joiner
2 x 4.75 ton shackles
1 x 6m snatch master strap
1 x 4m Tow Strop
1 x pair of recovery gloves
1 x coffee maker (kindly donated by nibby)
Pretty sure thats worth around $200 bucks.

All prizes will be ordered through 4wdbits so will turn up at your door

Have fun :D

Come on Nibby you know the Nissan owners will need most of the gear, just make a deal to buy the coffee maker from them so they can afford more stickers (Seem's top be AL's most prolific mod)

I guess he is trying to hide the fact it is a nissan  Sad the lengths some nissan owners have to go to...

(Ducking for cover behind a TOYOTA)

Anyway back on topic good to see the site is growing. Keep up the good work Mike.

Good luck to those that have their eye on the prise rather than the track you should be on
