Seen as we Manawatu Guys were made so welcome at a recent rallywoods trip , I am organising a trip to Costaplenty, which is about 500 acres of 4wd tracks that are similar to Rally woods. I am planning to do it on the weekend 22nd and 23rd of september but those dates need to be confirmered with goldie, If you are keen please pm me as numbers are limited to 20 trucks
I tried to get hold of them a while back to organise a trip up there but could never get through to them. If you have a contact then I'm possibly keen to go up for a look. It's up near Pahiatua isn't it?
That's the one. Same phone number as I have on a business card. Apparently it was a Sat phone or something and I could never get through. But I assumed that the card I had was old and gave up after a few attempts.
It's actually called Coasta Plenty 4x4 Park ($20 isn't really that expensive... get it... costa plenty )
Sorry guys bot I havent been able to get hold of goldie to book the dates,But I will keep tryin.
As a note if I do secure the date there will be some truck requirements ie,
Tow hooks
Mud tyres
Rated strops
My lunch provided
I wouldnt be able to do the 23/23rd but any alternative dates I'd be interested so long as there's enought gas stations between Wgtn and Manawatu to get me there :thumright:
Righto, I have booked costaplenty for the 6th and 7th of october, so for all those keen start preparing cause goldie reackons it is wetter than a blind lesbians g string in a fish shop

Bugger... that's the training day weekend. Ahhh well, will have to try another one some other time.
Righto, I was out at costaplenty yesterday for a play, to say you need good rubber is an understatement but it was cool. It is still booked for the 6th an 7th of oct so if people are still keen just let me know
That weekend clashes with the Welly Training weekend I know for a fact that there are people interested in this trip, perhaps a change in date, what about LABOUR Weekend (for those not going up to Pueora) or postpone a bit later ie late Nov or Early Dec?
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)
OK as the training day is on onthe same date as when I booked costaplenty, I have cancelled our booking there.
I can organise another trip there for late nov or dec (I see on the trip calender a few spare spots) but it does get very dry in the warmer months. So I was thinkin an overnighter late this year to have a look and abit of socialising and the when our friend Mr Mud comes back we can have some fun.
Thoughts?
