If you don't mind me asking how much was it from CRS? How come you didn't go with one of the setups on Trademe?

well it is $1500 aus and kit contains,

Flywheel
Clutch 10-10.5"
Pressure plate
spigot bearing
pivot point + fork
Bell housing
Extension to bell housing.

Now this is a Holden 1 ton clutch and is organic with can't remmebr either a 10" or 10.5" pressure plate..which is a good size for the lex.

I went for this for a few reasons..
1 - mainly being it is a whole kit and everything will just bolt up and work..no messing around
2 - considering the price of stuff off trademe..i couldn't do this for this amount if i tried.
3 - being bolt on cert is garanteed as I have already spoken to the low vol cert man abd seeing as i'm just maybe moving the engine mounts..cert is going to be a peice of cake..

The only reservaion i have is the clutch being organic and if it craps out..i jus have to change that..to a ceramic one..and maybe beef up the pressure plate if that fails but it should be able to handle stock power as CRS said this clutch and pressure plate can handle up around 650-700 hp and seeing as the lex is around 250 hp i got no reason to think this will fail.. :)

Cool, will certainly make it all easy no doubt.

Ask them what pressure the plate is set to, anything less than 2000lbs will slip.

Been a while but update as of now..engine in running sweet ass(stock ecu)..new OME leaves all round with new shocks, changing my 34"swamper to 33"swampers for challenge rules..just tidying up a few loose ends, had to rewire the whole truck to 12 volt due to 24 volt being a pain in the ass to even try to get it to work,New exhaust next week, flanges being made and sent later this week,Cert guy dropping around tomorrow for a look, intank fuel pump in place and running,I think thats about it....will try to up some more pics later..or anyone wants some goto http://lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8388 and they are all there..cheers all,it has takin longer than expected but the end result is looking very promising..and the sound is just all inspiring.. [/img]
