i have been thinking about this event alot and after todays effort, i think i may just watch and learn from the event. i know my truck would get through a lot of the couse after watching it last year. i just thing i may be a bit stuck in alot of places and would need to mod the truck a bit more frist before entering. and aswell i have just got it, so i want to have a bit of fun and get to know it a little better frist, before i break it
maybe next year. sorry al. will definitly be there cheering on the nissan boys thou (and the toyotas aswell i guess
)

This is a bit off topic , After looking at Mike's last posting it came to my attention , that if me could find out what sort of material was used in his friends BIKINI TOP and develop it into a TOW STROP( I won't call it a SNATCH strop ) ,
IT WOULD NEVER BREAK,
FITZY.

14 maybe. im changing my mind as i have been doing alot of driving in my new truck and well, it mite not be a real wepon out there, but it should do ok. i think
i have never done an event but have been last year to the event and dont see many problems with the hazards. well i will see rick in the morning and get my entry in and take it as it comes. other than snorkal, 33's muds? and rear lsd, diff breathers, and a fairly good level of experiance. is there anything else i should be concerned about.
other than its a nissan and all the other things you toymota boys will come up with

How many horse power does the Nissan have stock Steve? That would be interesting. And what's the dry weight of the model you have? Those tyres could do with more tread for mud plugging? :scratch:

to true i have no idea what the hourse power is but it has more grunt than the surf had so it will do me as for the tyres, im in the proccess of selling the surf, winch ,and winch bars. once thats done then i can get some real rubber. if anyone wants to sponser me a set of tyres? i will put stickers on the truck. cant wait to give this mud plug a go. its full steam ahead now. :bluecap:

Start with some bars front and rear, tow hooks, snorkle, some tread.
