another newbie..

Hey Fellas,

Just joined and thoght i'd better say hi, well i need some advice first, i'm a pom living in Oz and am movin over to the south island for work and gonna get an off roader, i want to get something different although i do have a bit of a thing for a Hilux Surf or SSR i think they are, but i do like the look of a Jeep Wrangler, can anyone tell me if they've had had or if they're any good, what suggestions are there, i don't want a massive off roader, anyway cheers guys.

Hiya Chopper, Welcome to ORE!

Glad to hear you seen the error of you ways and decided to leave Auz and not only are you coming to NZ (by far the best place in the southern hemisphere) but you've decided to settle in the South Island, the better of the 2 main islands. imho :lol:

Never owned a Toymotor, but they seem to have a lot of parts available for them, I guess it's because the people who buy them like fixing them :wink: couldn't even comment on a jeep (though many on here could and probably will) they were made before I was born... sometime in the 1950s I think :wink:

Have you considered an Isuzu?? good value for money and a good all-rounder on and off-road 8)
