last weekend in Sept. that makes it 24th - 25th. roger roger :wink:

brother nath in the little red zuzuki is keen, will have to rark him up to get his arse in gear but he will be there,with passenger. so theres 4 :wink:

Harris, Waiotapu tavern has gull station right next door
de ranged you dont need to fix your winch[be nice but]. But a good snatch strap and the normal 4x4 recovery gear,including first aid stuff is a must!

check out page 7 of 4x4 Action Magazine Sept "the red wreck" and my grandson .. and hes on page 5 above "DILLIGAF"...... Great pix and story. 8) Another trip we were on and made a name for our elses.

Hey add 2 4wds 2 the list an 3-4people for accomidation,is every body travling ova friday nyt or satday???? 4wds are hilux surf mine an my dads 82 hilux both have tow hooks front an back ect,

I was getting boarder line on pulling out with a major case of the "i can't be farked's" but hey, i'll sort out my drive shaft and steering and i'll be there.
But will be taking it easy.

him know approx numbers for saterday nite, maybe a few on friday nite too :D
Start time saterday? early i think,as there is miles of tracks out there.

So for those traveling down from Hamilton thats leaving at 5.30am on Saturday or leaving at 6:30 - 7pm on friday night and getting there at 9:30 - 10pm.

3hrs is a realistic time for covering the distance i would say, alowing for contingincies.

Hi, Just being talking to the publican he said those staying friday nite $15 for the nite get your own tea on the way over,saterday's breakfast/lunch can be brought for resinable price or bring your own.saterday nite $35 get you dinner etc per person :D
waiotapu is 2 comfortable hrs from hamilton /2.5hrs from napier. If your trucks cant do it in that time! burn them!! :rocketwhore2:

not sure on heading over friday night or sat morning :? either orther... maybe hamilton,waikato crew head over friday night so we can get a reasonable sleep friday night at the pub? or camp it out in minginui..... with a spotllight :wink: .... theres a thought,maybe i should get a permit and take the canon 8) ...just in case :wink:
