Ok for an Aka's trip to happen we need insurance and it needs to be in the ORE newsletter the month before to be covered....these are done 2 monthly only at the moment....
What about another location somewhere that doesn't require insurance?

Was thinking possibly a day at Ken McAdam's place ...pegged hazards etc., or even a run in a place in whitemans valley ...checking out access at the moment.

im keen to do something that original weekend (15/16)as i too have the time off work, but as my lux is pretty std with worn mud tires i cant do anything too extreme so something that suits begginer/newbies gets my vote.. ( its not a shiney by any means but its pretty std )
Whitemans valley area is not avaliable that weekend .... How bout a Aotea play? I can bring some pegs along and we can set up some nice shiny and up hazards? ... not a serious day but a good chance to practice doind hazards (everything is optional and you can try them as much as you want)
Those of you still watching this thread and further from the aborted trip due to DOC and planting concerns. Well we have not forgotten!..
We will be hosting another trip for ORE towards the end or Jan/Feb - it will be a river trip and Led by Duanne Andersen.
So keep watching and we will let you know as things get organised!
