sorry guys, what i tried to say (computer wouln't let me) is i think your dreaming to do the lift (and cert) for 500 or anywhere near it, but what would i no and who really cares lets face it IFS does its job (keeps 1 wheel on the ground ) for the time being until its time to get crazy with a grinder/plasma cutter and chop it all out.

Its more of a show pony than a 4wd machine but those lift kits arent cheap. looks like abit of work has gone into it. they didnt just wind up the torsion bars. An that exhaust would have cos abit. and the flares, new shocks etc oh and either they have done something to the gearing or the old 2lte would never turn those wheels, hell kaneys old one struggled with the 33's. It all ads up i bet afew thousand have been put into it. Give it a decent engine and it would be a good show pony lol.

Surfs are 5-link from factory unlike the Paj... Not a very good 5-link... the main links can be removed and damn-near stored in a matchbox they are that short. It may offend some of you north island coil-spring weenies but those surfs work 100 times better by ripping the coils out and fitting falcon springs
I've tried to avoid posting in this thread since I want to say mean things about the truck... and since I'm here... nah... not going to do it... you all know my thoughts on IFS... be it blocked away from the chassis or not... (this isn't a suspension lift, its a suspension move)
Ooops, there I go... ok... off to complain some more about trademe then I think I'll have a bitch about Nissans, make a small dig at Nibby over his progress, bleat at Mike for not having the new site done and taunt Goose about the coffee machine that never was...
Damn I need a coffee....
What was this thread about again?
