Hey Guys,

just getting into 4x4 action....have got a 86 hilux surf with a v8 conversion,
just working on lift or suspension work to get her sitting higher.
it's running 31" tyres at the moment but i am thinking of going up a few size's with these as well,
building it for a bit of a weekend cruiser so would like to have certed for road use.

any help or ideas on suspenison work would be great, and any tracks or place to have a bit of a play around the waikato area would also rock

thanks

tom

I used to drive it around all the time but have a car now so don't as much. Just the usual mods: 4 inch lift, 33s for road use and 35s for off road. snorkel, bullbars, 4.88 ratio diffs, freewheeling hubs, shimmed up rear LSD, wound up turbo boost pressure, winch (well not yet its arriving this week) and....... STICKERS lol. It's still IFS which is super gay... one day it will be a beam axle.... 8)

Anyway give me a txt if you want..... 027 294 5094 and if you happen to drive past Truckstops on K drive tomorrow you'll see it parked there

Cheers, Dan
