Beam axle LN65 surf???

Post by Thomps »

Hi.
Does anyone know if LN65 (i.e. 1984-1989 odd) Surfs ever had beam axle front end or are they all independent c.v spitters? I have def seen a couple around but my mate reckons they might all be conversions?
Thinking this might be my next truck if I can find a goodie. Lift the frig out of it and have some fun!
Cheers.
Matt.
(Actually unsure if the Surf was called LN65 as the Lux was, but you get what I'm driving at??)

Yup, almost forgotten I'd written that...

Long and short is that the LN and YN60 was a beam axle Surf released 84 and 85 (and sold thru till early 86) - identical running gear to the 65-series hilux - SWB chassis.
