I have not decided to go for the SOA :cry:

so have gone for the simple early hilux steering box conversion :wink:

Start photos

I was flat out at work

not, so started his :lol:

Also finished winch bumper and front shackle lift

would it also have something to do with the fact you had easy access to all of those parts

what size tyres ya gonna run armourguard?

curious as was wondering if the larger tyres (depending on rim offset) would rub on the power steer pump...?

nice tidy job though dude..

had a few drinks :wink:

Box is fitted in the same place as the old box and doesnt stick out any further than the old one even the battery rack bolted back on with only minor nudge :roll:

, man took about 1/2 hour to bleed all the air out of it 8-O thought the pump bearing was naffed

but how dear i think Wopass would have passed on faulty product :oops:

Dont know yet, as broke off two manifold exhaust studs :cry:

and waiting for new gasket.

Then need to get wheel alighnment done and shimmed as i raised front shackles by 2 1/4" to equal rear shackles

but might have to add cooler to p/s thou and 2" boby lift :twisted:

But i am thinking of putting a engine oil cooler on it. Just for peace of mind.. The engine temp is stable tho.

Any need to extend the brake lines?

Did you get the steering mod certified? If so who'd you use and would you recommend them?

The back already had longer shackles and i made the front ones myself

and no need to extend brake lines

Steering mod still looks standard so passes warrant no sweat, will get cert when i do SOA then will only have to pay once :wink:
