2.8 turbo safari, maybe buying
hi guys, thinking of buying a straight and tidy 1995, 235,000 kms nissan safari swb, its a 2.8 turbo diesel auto, any opinions on these trucks please, are they ok with that amount of kms, i need to use to and from work every day and some offroading, lift 2'' etc usual stuff. honest comments please as i am making a decission friday. i have never owned a safari so any comments are going to be useful. thanks
The RD28-T powered vehicles are alot cheaper, so for the same price as a well used TD42 powered truck, you can find a RD28-T with alot less km's on it and in better condition.
The RD28-T's can be a bit fragile and not much chop for towing. TD42 gives you the flexibility to upgrade with a modest turbo setup in the future.
