sheffield mudplug/trial september 23 ph 03 3183818
Thanks for that Mike, I was getting sick of the crap as well.
Yeah, I'm guessing that's the case Matt. I am still going to call them today for peace of mind. Can the ORE crew set up near 4wd Accessories as I have a foot in both camps this time. Hosehustler even managed to score a set of 32" Simex's for the terrano for the day. Shit hot, mud will be flying everywhere now
I hope some of you spectators will be out there taking good quality vids and pics and post them up ASAP please.
Al
Im guessing if you missed out they would have rung you

I was chatting with Nev about the mudplug yesterday. He said he was planning to do a ring around over the next day or so to let people know what was happening but all is looking good at the moment.
He also said that there have been a few trucks pull out due to mechanical and transport problems
so there are still a few spaces available so if you are still keen and haven't signed up the I would suggest that you get in quick. Should be a great day out as always.
See you all there.

youll be lucky to get broadband out there. its normally broadband in the cities and dialup out in the country on those mobile cards.
Fired the Landy up today after installing the short stage throttle and man its responsive, 0 to 5000rpm in 60 seconds
Anyway just another cool thing but not quite as cool as alex's is that my bro will be there with his 15m high photo mast. If all the ore boys want to get into a big semi-circle or circle if there are that many then he will take a cool panaroma picture for us. He is going to take some of the whole day like aerial photos of hazards etc. This is what they will turn out like but of course not houses but 4wds http://www.treetopphotos.co.nz/Lincoln

The course is more technical this year due to a lack of rain. The usual swamp part is all dry, but there is another part that has never been able to be accessed as too much water. this year they are going to use this part, so I am told on good authority. looking forward to catching up and giving the terrano with the simexs total death.

Nice to see some rain/drizzle today.
Nev was telling us about the area you're talking about Al. It sounds very naily. Deep and loose gravel on the bottom with very steep entry and exits.

can anyone confirm if this is the right place in the frist image.
and if this is correct then where will the ore pits be set-up as i will be out there when the gate opens and dont want to set up and find that the pits are somewhere else?
if someone wants to mark it on the map that would be ace

yeh mate just getting every edge i can over the compatition.
so all i need to know is where the pits will be and i will be sorted
i wonder with the rain over the last 24 hrs and the waimak up, if it will make the mud plug holes deeper.
if anyone knows where the ore pits will be they can go into my albem (hilux-happy-steve) and edit the google earth pic with a mark to show where we will set-up.
